Which are the application deadlines?

1st Cycle&nbsp;(Bachelor Degree)<ul><li>Identification document (Passport, Identity Card. Optional or when authorized simple photocopy of document);</li><li>A sworn declaration stating that the candidate is neither of Portuguese nationality, nor is included in any of the special conditions that do not confirm their status as an international student, according to the International Student Statute;</li><li>A declaration confirming the completion of Portuguese Secondary education or equivalent, or, if the academic qualification does not correspond with that of Portuguese secondary education, a confirmatory document which allows admission into higher education by the country in which it was obtained, duly validated by the competent entity/institution of this country, in accordance with current legislation&nbsp;1;</li><li>Document confirming final grades achieved in Portuguese secondary education, or the equivalent, indicating the level of classification 1;</li><li>Document proving the approval in the admission exams defined in Portugal for the course of applying, or document proving that the school education obtained approval in the final exams/curricular components that integrate the knowledge by the admission exams defined in Portugal. Which are the documents to attach to the application?

The Application Fee is €60, 00.&nbsp; If you submit more than one application, the amount for each additional application will be €60, 00.

How much is the application fee?

The whole procedure is online. You must fill in the form and submit it with the required documents duly scanned and uploaded.

How to submit the application?

Applications without the required documents will not be accepted. (Please consult the International Student’s Public Notice).

Is it possible to submit the application without a document?

The payment of the application fee can be done in two different ways:1st cycle<ul><li>Bank transfer - for applicants who does not have a Portuguese bank account and does not live in Portugal(applicant must submit the payment proof in the application form);</li><li>ATM Payment (SIBS) - the payment is only possible for applicants with a Portuguese bank account.</li></ul>2nd cycle and 3rd cycle<ul><li>Bank transfer - applicant must submit the payment proof in the application form.</li></ul>&nbsp;Payments must be made during the respective application Period.

How can I pay the application fee?

The payment of the application fee is done after submit the application.&nbsp;

Can I pay the application fee after submitting the application?

1st cycle<ul><li>The application fee cannot be reimbursed.</li></ul>2nd cycle and 3rd cycle<ul><li>The application fee is non-refundable. It is returned only in case the course does not take place due to insufficient number of candidates.</li></ul>

Can the application fee be reimbursed?

Applicants can choose one or more coursesany available course, as long as they prove, through a Secondary Education conclusion Certificate (or equivalent), that they are eligible and have the admission exams to the course they are applying for.&nbsp;Applicants that have applied to more than one course, and have been accepted in both of them, must inform the Undegraduate Studies Area&nbsp;(<a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="mailto:ua@ciencias.ulisboa.pt">ua@ciencias.ulisboa.pt</a>), as soon as the results are public, of the course they intend to register/enroll. If our services do not get this information in time both applications will be rejected.

Can I apply to more than one 1st Cycle (Bachelor Degree)?

The application results will be available online at the&nbsp;webpage of CIÊNCIAS.

How can I consult the applications results?

As stated in the <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" class="text-primary hover:text-placeholder transition-colors duration-300" href="https://ciencias.ulisboa.pt/sites/default/files/fcul/institucional/legislacao/d_20_2024.pdf">Despacho D/20/2024</a>,&nbsp;only candidates admitted to the 1st Cycle and 2nd Cycle are required to pay a deposit.After being informed of their admission, candidates admitted in the 1st and 2nd periods are required to pay a deposit of 500.00Euros, failing which they will lose their place on the course to which they have been admitted.
