Hyper-Kamiokande is a next generation neutrino experiment with a wide physics programme including neutrino CP-violation measurements, proton decay searches and a programme of measurement for atmospheric, solar and supernova neutrinos.
The experiment consists of a new water Cherenkov detector with a fiducial mass approximately 8 times that of Super-K, an upgraded JPARC neutrino beamline and improved near detector systems. The project is now funded in Japan and is expected to start data collection in 2027. In this seminar I will review the latest status of the experiment and the Hyper-Kamiokande physics programme.
