Abstract: This talk intends to address the work in progress on conic o-minimal sheaves, being developed by Mário Edmundo, Luca Prelli and me. The purpose of this work is to extend the parallel between the classical topological sheaf theory, and the o-minimal sheaf theory setting constructed by Mário Edmundo and Luca Prelli.
In this first talk, we’ll go over the basic setting in which such objects live, i.e. a space X endowed with an action of R^{+}, and rework it into the o-minimal framework. With that in mind, we'll discuss some properties of conic definable sets (i.e. invariant under the action) and of R^{+}-definably-connected sets, which are necessary for a discussion about conic o-minimal sheaves.
