The PCISBIO Day concerns the Portuguese participation in Instruct (Instruct is about Structural Biology but extends from the atomic to the cellular scale - more about Instruct).
Instruct allows access to various technological platforms within the main areas of Sample Preparation, Biophysical Characterization, Structural Analysis and Data Analysis.

- eBIC (electron Bio-Imaging Centre) and membrane protein production at Diamond Light Source

- MS (Ion mobility for native mass and size determination of protein complexes, Labelling MS for protein surface analysis and structural dynamics and Proteomics)
- Fast field Cycling relaxometry

- Bioinformatics and Computational software
Of special interest to Cell Biology and Biomedicine you can also access:
- Correlative Light and Electron Microscopy
- Biobank sample
- Various platforms within Light Microscopy, namely super-resolution localization microscopy, FRAP, FRET, Time-lapse video microscopy, spinning-disk microscopy and flow cytometry
In the near future, an AFM platform will be also available at CEITEC in the Czech Republic Instruct Centre.
