The IMMR’18 is an international congress planned to communicate novel scientific knowledge on marine resources and research towards the sustainability of our planet.
The scientific program places under the spotlight innovative research in:
- Aquaculture
- Biodiversity, Conservation and Coastal Management
- Blue Biotech
- Fisheries and Management
- Seafood Technology
During these two days several international keynote speakers will share state-of-the-art knowledge on the congress main topics, and senior and young researchers will communicate their latest scientific innovations, discoveries and practices on important subjects in the multidisciplinary field of marine research.
There will also be a session on pre-conference day (4th July) entitled “Marine Invaders - Assessment and Impacts on Aquatic Ecosystems”, with independent abstract submission and the possibility of full paper publication in a special issue of Ecological Indicators Journal.
The IMMR is organized by the Marine and Environmental Sciences Centre - MARE, and ESTM from the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria (IPLeiria).
Altogether, we are convinced that the IMMR’18 will be a prominent scientific meeting as well as a rewarding event for all the participants who will find in Peniche the perfect “networking” location.
