Over the next few years, the Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa will hire more professors of mathematics at the assistent or associate levels.

The department offers ample opportunities, since it is in an ongoing process of renewal. The department is interested in people with a strong record of publications and promising scientific outlook, who like to teach and want to work at Faculdade de Ciências. We offer good working conditions: modern facilities, a very complete library, electronic access to journals, as well as the opportunity to integrate a research center affiliated with the department which  is funded by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) and may provide research funding.
