Our invited lecturer is Professor Clara Viñas from Materials Moleculars i Supramoleculars, ICMAB-CSIC, Barcelona, Spain. Prof. Clara Viñas graduated in Chemistry at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in 1975 and in Pharmacy at the Universitat de Barcelona in 1980. She worked as a pre-doctoral student at the Prof. Rudolph’s laboratory at The University of Michigan for a year.

Professor Marek Kwiatkowski (Faculty of Chemistry, University of Gdańsk, Poland) will be visiting us at the Chemistry and Biochemistry Department (Ciências, ULisboa) next week within the ERASMUS Programme, and will be our invited lecturer for the seminar entitled "Lessons from the Past: What do we learn from not respecting the rules of Green Chemistry?" on April 14th, at 14:30, at the FFCUL Conference Room (C1 building).

O Professor Gary D. Christian é um cientista e docente de elevado mérito. É autor do livro de Química Analítica (7.ª edição 2013) mais recomendado pelas universidades europeias. É também editor-chefe da revista Talanta e neste seminário partilhará a sua experiência de mais de 20 anos como editor-chefe.
