Vânia Mendonça is an Invited Assistant Professor at the Informatics Department of the Faculty of Sciences - University of Lisbon (FCUL) and is an Integrated Researcher at LASIGE. Prior to joining FCUL/LASIGE, she was a researcher at INESC-ID and obtained her PhD (2022) in Computer Science and Engineering at Instituto Superior Técnico - University of Lisbon (IST), where she was also a Teaching Assistant. Her current research interests include low-resource Natural Language Processing, Human-Computer Interaction, and Assistive Technologies. She is currently supervising several MSc theses falling under these topics.
