Scientific Interests

The main research interest is the study of the relationships between composition, defect structure, working conditions, processing routes, microstructure and transport properties of inorganic materials, namely ternary oxides with perovskite type structures with potential technological applications. Other research interests include the preparation of photocatalytic powder and immobilized MO2-based thin films (M = Ti, W, Pb, Mo, etc) and ABO3 oxides with perovskite type structure using different substrate for photo and electrochemical degradation and also the characterization of materials by several techniques.
