The seminar follows the growing commitment of Higher Education Institutions (HEI) to sustainability in a context in which HEIs are increasingly assuming a leadership role in the pursuit of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).
The commitment of Higher Education Institutions with the SDGs is reflected in their teaching and learning activities, research and interaction with society, as well as in the operational management of the campus.
This seminar will cover the integration of the Sustainable Development Goals into Higher Education Institutions, particularly those that focus on the sustainability of the Planet. The first panel will present best practices implemented in two International Universities.
The roundtable will highlight best practices implemented by various Portuguese Higher Education Institutions. It will also discuss how Higher Education Institutions assumed their leadership role in the pursuit of the SDG through its various missions (teaching, research, interaction with society and best practices).
