EIT Health Innovation Days

The European Institute of Innovation & Technology (EIT) Health promotes healthy living, active ageing and improvements in healthcare. The EIT Health network is one of the strongest healthcare communities worldwide, composed of research-intensive companies, elite universities and innovative health and care providers.

The Innovation Days (i-Days) is an event supported by the EIT Health. It promotes health innovation among Undergraduate and Postgraduate students from any background with an interest in health innovation, boost entrepreneurial spirit and kick-start health innovation. No prior experience is needed.

The Faculty of Sciences, University of Lisbon, is hosting its first edition of the EIT Health i-Days on 16th-17th November 2018 under the topic of “Patient-centered care: New challenges for the health services and the industry”. A one and a half-day challenge, where you will have the opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary team to create solutions to tackle real-life problems delivered by the pharmaceutical industry, medical technology companies, hospitals and healthcare providers. To attain this goal, you will acquire professional training in design thinking, pitching and entrepreneurial reasoning. 

A professional jury will select the winning teams. The successful teams will have access to the EIT Health network opportunities to develop their own ideas as well as an invitation to the EIT Health Winners Event in December.

O curso visa capacitar os formandos para a aplicação dos índices de qualidade ecológica utilizados na avaliação da qualidade ambiental em sistemas de transição, no âmbito da Diretiva Quadro da Água (DQA) - candidaturas até 31 de agosto.

The conference aims to bring together key experts in the Medical Microwave Imaging (MMWI) field and will include invited talks, presentations and posters of peer-reviewed abstracts and conference papers, and workshops in satellite areas of research that are of interest to MMWI research.
