We take on Dennett’s idea of considering (computational) artificial life as a new way of doing philosophy to digress around possible interactions between philosophy, artificial life, and artificial intelligence. On the verge of widespread intelligent autonomous devices and agents, the mentioned interactions are ripe for an extended discussion that besides practitioners should extend to society in general.
