As well as promoting employability, it also has the role of supporting them throughout their career paths and organising activities that strengthen the Faculty of Sciences’ links with its former students (alumni) and with potential employers.

Placement Opportunity 

• Supporting CIÊNCIAS students and graduates seeking employment;

• Managing the CIÊNCIAS Employment Portal by posting employment and/or internship opportunities;

• Supporting the industry and partner organisations in the recruitment of CIÊNCIAS graduates;

• Managing and implementing extracurricular internships in companies and research entities.

Employability of graduates

• Conducting employability surveys amongst graduates and PhD holders of CIÊNCIAS;

• Ensure institutional reporting in the area of employability.

Alumni

• Management of the CIÊNCIAS Alumni Network database;

• Organisation of activities designed to foster links between CIÊNCIAS and its former students (alumni).
