Instructor immediacy refere-se aos comportamentos verbais e não verbais que potenciam a proximidade do/a docente aos/às estudantes. Investigação nesta área comprova que este factor pode influenciar positivamente a confiança dos/as estudantes no/a docente, os resultados académicos, a satisfação com o curso e diminuir a ansiedade. Neste encontro iremos refletir que comportamentos promovem este aspeto em Ensino Remoto.

"It’s the quality of the feedback rather than its existence or absence that determines its power” (Stiggins et al, 2004). Como docentes no Ensino Superior, dar feedback aos alunos, quer formativo quer sumativo, oralmente ou por escrito, é uma tarefa quotidiana. A utilização de tecnologias simples como a gravação de pequenos vídeos aumenta a eficácia desta tarefa, enquanto potencia a conexão com os estudantes, tão necessária no tempo que vivemos.

A utilização de momentos ativos em sala de aula é referida como uma boa prática inegável no Ensino Superior, constando inclusive da lista dos Seven Principles For Good Practice in Undergraduate Education (Chickering & Gamson). Em ensino remoto é possível, em sessões síncronas, planear momentos ativos para potenciar a aprendizagem e aumentar o envolvimento dos estudantes.
