Ciências Research Day

Grande Auditório (3.2.14), Ciências ULisboa
Research at the Faculty of Sciences

Join us on 27 October 2021 for the 3rd edition of Ciências Research Day, in which Ciências ULisboa showcases the best Science made in this centenary institution!

The event will take place on Auditorium 3.2.14 (Building C3, 2nd floor), starting at 9.30 am and during the whole day. Participation is free, but prior registration is suggested.

Live streaming

This year’s edition will have a session dedicated to Climate Change - an area in which Ciências ULisboa is leader - as well as contributions on internationally relevant research carried out in Ciências and information on scientific projects and national and international collaborative initiatives - check the programme.

And be prepared for the lunch break: there will be plenty of things to do!

At the C3 atrium will take place the posters session, where you will find 72 posters about cutting edge science developed at Ciências ULisboa.

Who are the (great) experts behind great scientists? What is the daily routine of chemists, mathematicians, biologists, astronomers, neuroscientists and so many other scientific fields? In which projects are they working on? Ask your questions on the speed-dates that will take place on the ground floor of C3, as well as on C6 and C8 buildings.

And don’t miss the open labs, at C8 Building - a new and live experience of Ciências Research Day! Join researchers, technicians and/or graduated students in guided tours to labs supporting research at the Biosystems & Integrative Sciences Institute (BioISI), the Centro de Química Estrutural (CQE) and the Laboratório de Instrumentação e Física Experimental de Partículas (LIP).
