Por Jafar Adibi (Talkdesk - Head of Data Science and AI).

Short Bio: Jafar Adibi has over 20 years of experience in directing engineering and scientist teams to build and deliver innovative products with focus in AI and data science. Currently Jafar is the Head of Data Science and AI at TalkDesk where his main focus is building AI enabled intelligent contact centers. Before that he was the CTO  and co-founder of Reunify an AI based startup with focus on real-time customer analytics. Prior to founding Reunify, he was a project lead at the Center for Advanced Research at PwC where he directed R&D in people-centric knowledge management and socio-collaborative systems. He is a former research scientist at the USC Information Sciences Institute where he designed and developed KOJAK an award wining novel link discovery systems with applications in counter terrorism, business intelligence and viral marketing. Jafar is the co-founder of ZAIAS and Clenova, two early-stage startups, with focus on collective intelligence and discovering hidden relations among seemingly unrelated entities. He has received his PhD in computer science from USC in 2002, has published more than 50 scientific papers and is a recipient of multiple national and international awards in computer science.
