Tiago Miguel Dias Domingues graduated from the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon with a degree in Mathematics, a Master degree in Biostatistics and a PhD in Statistics and Operations Research, specialty in Biostatistics and Bioinformatics. He has been teaching probability and statistics at bachelor's and master's level. During his career, he had the opportunity to work in private health consultancy companies, as well as in public positions, namely at the Instituto Português de Oncologia, Francisco Gentil E.P.E. Regarding his research, he has contributed to the field of Medical Statistics through collaborations with public and private institutions in the health sector. His main focus has been on classification problems in diagnostic tests using serologies.
