Naercio Magaia is an Invited Assistant Professor at the Department of Informatics of the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon. He holds a Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering and an M.Sc. degree in Communication Networks Engineering both from Instituto Superior Técnico of the University of Lisbon. He is an integrated researcher of the Large-Scale Informatics Systems Laboratory (LaSIGE). He participated in national and Europeans research projects. His research interests include wireless networks, network protocols, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and programmable networks.
