I earned my PhD in Physics, in 2022, from the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon (FCUL), where I studied rigidity transitions in biological tissues. I then joined Sapienza University of Rome as a Postdoctoral Researcher, focusing on self-assembly at the micro- and nanoscale. In 2024, I joined the University of Oxford as a Marie Curie Fellow where I investigated hole formation in epithelial tissues. Since 2025, I have been an Assistant Professor in the Physics Department at FCUL and a Researcher at the Centro de Física Teórica e Computacional (CFTC).
