Solar Radiation Measurement

Equipamentos da estação de medição de radiação solar e meteorológica
For the characterization of the environmental and operational conditions of the solar systems tested on the Solar Campus, since January 2015, a solar radiation measurement station (global, direct and diffuse) and meteorological (wind, temperature and atmospheric pressure) has been in operation. The measuring equipment includes pyranometers (MS-802), with and without shading, pyreheliometer (MS-56), and a meteorological sensor (WS-500).
As part of the development of new techniques for measuring solar radiation, different prototypes of solar radiation sensors are being tested.
There are also measurements of solar radiation, global normal and direct, absolute atmospheric pressure, ambient temperature, wind speed and relative humidity, although more irregular, since 2010.
