Marta Panão, Eng. Physics (IST), MSc (IST), PhD in Mechanical Engineering (IST), is an Assistant Professor at FCUL. Her active research areas are performing indicators for Net Zero Energy Buildings, simplified and RC energy models, building stock energy models, occupants’ bevahiour modelling, heating gap and fuel poverty at residential sector. She published her work in 14 papers in international peer review journals with 106 Scopus citations (h-index 6). Since 2014, she is an assistant professor and chair of Buildings Heat Transfer, Renewable Energy and Heat Transfer. She had participated in different research projects, more recently: Urban data driven models for creative and resourceful urban transitions, SusCity (2015/2018); Solar potential in the urban environment, PVcity (2015/2108). She coordinated, as deputy, the project BUILD-UP SKILLS PORTUGAL, Training For Renewables and Energy Efficiency in Building Sector (2011/2013), an IEE Europe Initiative.
