The 'Acta Cusana' is one of the most important series for the editing of late medieval sources. Its particular significance lies in its detailed documentation of the life of the great philosopher, cardinal, and Church politician Nicolas of Cusa (1401-1464), as well as of the various political, intellectual and religious contexts in which he operated, on the basis of well-preserved and uniquely uncorrupted sources.
