Abstract: In science today, mechanisms play a relevant role to explain the relation between causes and effects. For example, in healthcare, neuro or social sciences suitable descriptions help to interpret functions and how parts and processes interact and work. Also, by using mechanisms we know how attain more realism by scaling-up.
