Internal mobility of ULisboa students

In the scope of the internal mobility of ULisboa students (Order No. 17/2022, of 31 January), students who wish to attend a UC at another ULisboa school, in order to integrate it as an optional UC in the study cycle they are enrolled in and if its syllabus foresees it, may request it to the academic services (the request must be submitted with the assessment of the course Coordinator).

International programmes

Erasmus+

The ERASMUS+ programme gives students from the Faculty of Sciences the possibility of attending a period of study with full academic recognition at a higher education institution based in a EU country, Turkey, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein or Macedonia. Students may study at an institution with which FCUL has established an Erasmus Bilateral Agreement for a minimum period of 3 months (90 days) and a maximum period of 12 months.

The ERASMUS+ programme gives students from the Faculty of Sciences, regardless the degree, the possibility of doing a curricular or extracurricular internship at higher education institutions, state-owned and non-state-owned companies, research centres, non-profit organisations, NGOs or Foundations in a EU country, Turkey, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein or Macedonia. Students may do an internship for a minimum period of 2 months (60 days) and a maximum period of 12 months.

The ERASMUS+ programme gives students from the Faculty of Sciences, up to one year after completion of studies, the possibility of doing an internship at higher education institutions, state-owned and non-state-owned companies, research centres, non-profit organisations, NGOs or Foundations in a EU country, Turkey, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein or Macedonia. Graduate students applying while still studying and who complete their degree in the academic year of the application may do internship periods with a minimum duration of 2 months (60 days) and a maximum duration of 12 months. 

 

Bilateral protocols

Exchange period, up to a maximum of 12 months, at foreign universities that have entered into a protocol with the University of Lisbon or with the Faculty of Sciences. Designed for students attending 1st or 2nd Cycle programmes.

 

IAESTE Internships

Paid and qualified professional internships organised through an independent international organisation - The International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience. These internships are for students attending a 2nd Cycle programme or the 4th or 5th year of an Integrated Master's programme.

 

National programmes

Almeida Garrett

The Almeida Garrett Programme, created by the Council of Rectors of Portuguese Universities (CRUP), aims at promoting the quality and enhancing the national dimension of Higher Education. It consists of undertaking a period of studies at another national university, with academic recognition at the home university. The Programme does not offer financial support to students interested in enjoying a mobility period at national higher education institutions. This programme is designed for students attending at least the 2nd year of a 1st Cycle programme for mobility and that have a minimum of 60 ECTS (the period of studies at the host institution is only 1 semester) and for students attending a 2nd Cycle programme for mobility as from the 2nd semester (the period of studies at the host institution has the maximum duration of 1 semester).
