No âmbito do projeto financiado pelo programa “Seed Fund for Teaching and Learning”, designado "How do we teach math in Europe" e liderado por Gerhard Dorn, de TUGraz, cujo objetivo é criar uma “caixa de ferramentas que reduza a barreira entre o ensino secundário e o ensino universitário para estudantes de Ciências, Tecnologias, Engenharia e Matemática (STEM)”, terá lugar um workshop conjunto entre o Instituto Superior Técnico e a Faculdade de Ciências, nos dias 23 e 24 de setembro de 2025.

Na Faculdade de Ciências, terão lugar duas sessões no dia 24 de setembro:

• “Meet the lecturers - exchange workshop”, um encontro entre docentes de matemática da Faculdade de Ciências e os membros da equipa Unite!
• “Meet the students / student unions / associations”, um encontro com estudantes (com a  colaboração do NEMMA).

Programa (sala 6.2.33):

• 14h30-16h - Meet the lecturers - exchange workshop
• 16h-16h30 - Coffee break
• 16h30-18h - Meet the students / student unions / associations.

As part of the project funded by the "Seed Fund for Teaching and Learning" program, entitled "How do we teach math in Europe" and led by Gerhard Dorn of TUGraz, whose goal is to create a "toolbox that reduces the barrier between secondary education and university education for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) students," a  workshop will be held on September 23 and 24, 2025, in a collaboration between Instituto Superior Técnico and the Faculty of Sciences.

At the Faculty of Sciences, two sessions will take place on September 24:

• "Meet the lecturers - exchange workshop", a meeting between mathematics professors from the Faculty of Sciences and members of the Unite! team
• "Meet the students / student unions / associations", a meeting with students (with NEMMA).
