This presentation consists in a brief introduction to Model Theory and some important results regarding quantifier elimination, model-completeness and the theory of algebraically closed fields, which will then be used, together with some purely algebraic facts, to prove Hilbert’s Nullstellensatz, a fundamental theorem in Algebraic Geometry. I will also establish the relationship between definable sets (a model-theoretic object) and constructible sets (an algebraic & geometric object).
