Geology

The degree programme curriculum aims to teach the essential concepts and methodologies for characterising the dynamics of Earth Systems, seeking to develop the skills that enable students to understand the scientific, technological, economic, social and cultural relevance of Earth Sciences. These skills also enable students to manage and use geological resources (mineral, energy, water) in a sustainable manner, as well as to predict and mitigate natural risks.
