The Technical Support Unit is responsible for ensuring excellent conditions for the academic community of Ciências ULisboa, through the integrated management of the safety of people and property, the promotion of health and sustainability, and the preservation of the documentary collection. It also aims to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of facilities and infrastructure, contributing to a safe, sustainable environment conducive to teaching, research and innovation.

the strategic definitions issued by senior management; coordination of interaction with security and cleaning service providers and support for the management of space occupancy at events not related to the regular activities of ULisboa Sciences.
The Campus Area comprises the Works, Maintenance and Spaces Office.

Occupational health and safety: coordination and development of actions for planning prevention and protection and promoting health and safety; implementation of measures aimed at improving environmental performance, respecting sustainability criteria and interaction with relevant external bodies, including civil protection agents.
Psychological assistance to members of the ULisboa Science community and promotion of cross-cutting skills development actions related to their area of intervention.
