Biomedical Engineering and Biophysics
The Master's Degree in Biomedical Engineering and Biophysics (MEBB) aims to train professionals in the complex and rapidly evolving multidisciplinary scientific and technological field of Biomedical Engineering.
The MEBB provides advanced training in the areas of health and physics, including: the study of the human body and the modelling of health and disease processes; the study of the principles and technologies used in health and well-being promotion, diagnosis, therapy and rehabilitation; biomedical research and development (R&D) and complex data analysis; the development of medical devices; and entrepreneurship.

Holders of a degree or legal equivalent in the fields of Engineering Sciences, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or related areas, as well as all those covered by the provisions of subparagraphs b), c) and d) of Article 16 of the University of Lisbon Postgraduate Studies Regulations (Order No. 8631/2020).
