Formative OfferMasterInformation Security

The Master's Degree in Information Security is a programme that aims to continue the training of professionals in the field of information security, succeeding the previous programme that took place under the agreement between the Portuguese Government and Carnegie Mellon University.

The degree aims to train recent graduates and professionals in the field of information security and its applications (e.g. ERP, ASP, e-commerce, e-finance), including the security and reliability of critical infrastructure (e.g. electrical networks or telecommunications networks). The need for specialists in techniques that combine these skills is recognised at government level, by the European Union, and by Portuguese companies, which are showing strong demand for professionals with these capabilities.
