Admission Academic Exams
2nd Cycle
Applications for admission to second cycle (master's) examinations must be submitted via Fénix, under the status ‘ADMISSION TO SECOND CYCLE EXAMINATIONS I Submit application’.
After attaching all the required documents and filling in all the mandatory fields, you must ‘submit your application for admission to the exams’.
This feature does not apply to confidential work. These must be delivered in person to the Postgraduate Studies Area during office hours.
Documents to be submitted
Declaration of availability in the University of Lisbon repository;
Opinion(s) of the supervisor(s) on the conformity of the final work to be submitted for exams (on letterhead of the institution where they work);
Version of the final work (provisional version), saved in PDF format;
Curriculum Vitae, saved in PDF format;
Application and opinion(s) of the supervisor(s) for changing the title of the final work and/or changing the supervision, on letterhead of the institution where they work (if applicable).
For the submission of work of a confidential nature:
Application for admission to master's degree examinations - confidential work;
Declaration of availability in the University of Lisbon repository;
Statement from the supervisor(s) on the conformity of the final thesis to be submitted for examination (on letterhead of the institution where they work) and indicating the reason for the confidentiality of the thesis;
Application and opinion(s) of the supervisor(s) for changing the title of the final work and/or changing the supervision, on letterhead of the institution where they work (if applicable).
Three to five copies, in digital format, containing a file of the final work (provisional and confidential version) and another of the Curriculum Vitae, both saved in PDF format.
If CDs are used, they must be properly identified, with the cover printed in accordance with the ‘Final Work Cover Template’ and placed in the CD protector. On the cover, write ‘Provisional and confidential version’.
In situations where it is necessary to ensure the confidentiality of the final work, the procedure defined in the respective regulations must be followed.

Fees
Examination admission fee of €100.
The fee must be paid after submitting the final assignment and after receiving an email from the services, preferably via ATM reference, available in the student's personal area on Fénix (payment method for submissions via Fénix).
For assignments of a confidential nature, the exam admission fee must be paid when the request is submitted in person at the academic services during office hours.
Presentation
The presentation of the final project must comply with the rules defined in the Regulations for the Master's Degree in SCIENCES.

Submission of the provisional version:
For 120 ECTS courses - by the last working day of September.
Submission of the final version:
If approved, students have 10 working days after the exams to submit the final version. This version must incorporate any changes agreed upon (if any) by the members of the jury and communicated to the student.
The final version of the Dissertation/Project Work/Internship Report must be submitted via Fénix, in the status ‘Dissertation/Project/Report (FINAL VERSION) I To be submitted by Student’.
You must submit:
1 copy of the final work (final version), saved in PDF format.
After attaching the document, you must ‘Submit (FINAL Version) - Dissertation/Project/Report’.
Submission of the public version:
If approved, the student has 10 working days after the exams to submit the public version, which must be sent to the email address gepg@ciencias.ulisboa.pt. This version must incorporate all public information and changes (also public) agreed upon by the members of the jury and communicated to the student.
You must send:
1 copy of the final work (public version), saved in PDF format.
Reformulation
If a revision of the final assignment is proposed, the student has 60 working days, which cannot be extended, to proceed accordingly, unless they declare that they do not wish to do so.
