The Erasmus+, through the International Credit Mobility (ICM) offers mobility opportunities for students, teachers and employees at higher education institutions (HEIs) outside Europe. This programme also provides the same possibility for students, teachers and employees of institutions in partner countries (non-European) to carry out a period of mobility in higher education institutions holding the Erasmus Charter in Europe.
Each ICM Project is developed with a set of partner countries and institutions, according to the annual application submitted to the Portuguese National Agency.
ICM allows the mobility for students (SMS-SMP), non-teaching staff (STT) and teaching staff (STA), being available four types of mobility:
Student mobility for studies to/from partner countries;
Student mobility for placement to/from partner countries;
Staff mobility for training to/from partner countries;
Staff mobility for teaching to/from partner countries.
