The main objective of the Doctorate in Cognitive Science is to train a new generation of graduates capable of combining different disciplines in an integrated manner in the science of cognition, mind and brain, as well as taking advantage of the application of knowledge generated in this area.

By default, in non-auxiliary curricular units, the classes are presented in Portuguese. If there is at least one student who does not speak Portuguese, who speaks English and requests that the subject be presented in this language, the classes in these units will be presented in English.
