The Organizing Committee is pleased to invite contributions in Portuguese, Spanish or English (official languages of both oral and poster presentations) under the conference themes above; Word for Windows.

The authors can present:

(1)   a short abstract (up to 250 words)  Template available here

or

(2)   an extended abstract/short paper (up to 6 pages), which must include  a short abstract (up to 250 words)  Template available here

The short abstracts (250 word-maximum) will be compiled in a “MIA 2012 Proceedings” volume and distributed to participants.

The short abstracts and the full contents of extended abstracts/short papers will be distributed in digital format.

When submitting a contribution please do not forget to fill and send the Contribution Form.

The Journal of Sea Research has tentatively agreed to produce a Special Issue related within the SYMPOSIUM ON THE ATLANTIC IBERIAN MARGIN   One of the questions they would like us to answer is how many papers might be submitted to be included in the special issue. In this context, we ask you to let us know if you intend to submit a paper for this special issue and a provisional title (in English). Please send a message to Teresa Drago (tdrago@ipimar.pt) till 30^th September with these informations.

It is foreseen the submission to the Guest Editors of this Special Issue till March-April 2013 and its publication in 2013.
