Salvatore Signorello is an invited Assistant Professor in the Department of Informatics (DI) of the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon (FCUL). He holds a PhD in Computer Science jointly from the Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust (SnT) in Luxembourg and the INRIA-Nancy Lab in France, and MSc. and BSc. in Computer Science and Information Engineering from Italy. After his PhD, he worked as a post-doc researcher at FCUL and at INESC-ID/IST in Lisbon, carrying research on programmable networks, advised by Prof. Fernando Ramos. He is broadly interested in traditional computer networking, but also highly intrigued by research on novel protocols and architectures for networked systems.
