The protocols entered into by the University of Lisbon allow students to undertake a maximum of 12-month mobility period at a university with which there is a cooperation agreement.
The University of Lisbon has entered into cooperation agreements with various countries, covering 4 continents.
Objectives:
To promote multiculturalism, the circulation of scientific knowledge through the sharing of knowledge and experience, the enrichment of the overall university experience (academic, scientific, social and cultural).
To give students the possibility of boosting their linguistic, cultural and educational knowledge through contact with other countries and their education systems;
To enrich the educational context of the receiving institution;
To promote cooperation between institutions that organise student exchange programmes; to contribute for the enhancement of society as a whole, by forming a more qualified youth with an open mind and international experience.
