Activities for Schools and Students

Follow and participate
in our activities.

At the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon, we want you to discover CIÊNCIAS beyond the classroom. Through our activities, we open the doors of the campus to students of all ages who are curious to explore areas such as Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science, Geology, and much more. Here you can participate in workshops, laboratory experiences, lectures, and scientific challenges that bring you closer to the reality of university life.

Our initiatives are led by professors, researchers, and students who share with you what it means to study and conduct research at CIÊNCIAS. This is an opportunity to ask questions about courses and career opportunities, get to know our facilities, and understand how you can transform your interest in Sciences into an academic and professional future.

Your journey begins here.

Ambassadors Club

The Ambassadors' Club of CIÊNCIAS is an initiative of the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon, launched in 2025, that brings the university closer to high schools.

Through this program, undergraduate and graduate students visit schools to share their academic experience directly and informally, and to raise awareness of study and research opportunities in the Sciences.

In sessions led by ambassadors, students and professors can discover what daily life is like for a university student, learn about available courses, and have their questions answered about accessing higher education. In addition to school visits, the Club also promotes the possibility of visits to the CIÊNCIAS campus, allowing high school students to come into contact with laboratories, researchers, and the university environment.
