The Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (FCT) published in June 2020 the new National Roadmap for Research Infrastructures of Strategic Interest (RNIE 2020). The RNIE 2020 is the first update of the RNIE published in 2014.
The RNIE 2020 follows the maturity assessment of the 40 research infrastructures initiated by the FCT in October 2019, and subsequently completed for the infrastructures integrated into the RNIE between 2014 and 2019. The RNIE 2020 also includes the 16 new infrastructures integrated into the Roadmap since April 2019, as foreseen in Decree-Law No. 63/2019.
In the RNIE 2020, which integrates 56 infrastructures, Ciências ULisboa coordinates three (Portuguese Coastal Monitoring Network (CoastNet), the National Mass Spectrometry Network (RNEM) and PORTULAN CLARIN) and also integrates nine more infrastructures.
