The 2nd phase of the National Access Competition to Higher Education (CNA) for the 2026/2027 academic year is currently under way, and there are 63 places available across 16 undergraduate programmes at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon (Ciências ULisboa). Applications may be submitted until 20 September 2026 through the platform of the Directorate‑General for Higher Education (DGES).

Among the degree programmes with places available in this phase, Geospatial Engineering offers the highest number, with 10 places, followed by Biology with eight, and Chemistry with seven. Geology has six places available, while Biochemistry, Applied Statistics and Physics each offer four places.
It is also important to note that applications for the 2nd phase are accepted for any undergraduate degree programme, even in cases where the initial occupancy rate is 100%.

In the 2nd phase of the CNA, applicants may submit a new application or amend one previously submitted, in accordance with the rules defined by the DGES.
The placement results will be published on 30 September, and the enrolment and registration period for placed applicants is scheduled for 1 to 3 October 2026.
