The Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon (Ciências ULisboa) took part in the commemorative reception marking the 77th anniversary of the People’s Republic of China, organised by the Embassy of China in Portugal and held at SUD Lisboa.

The event was attended by the Ambassador of China to Portugal, Yang Yirui, and also provided an opportunity to strengthen institutional ties between Portuguese and Chinese representatives.
CIÊNCIAS’ participation in the celebration of the 77th anniversary of the People’s Republic of China forms part of the broader context of growing academic and scientific cooperation between Portugal and China, as well as of the relationships that the Faculty and the University of Lisbon have been developing with Chinese higher education institutions.
