Ciências’ students bring college to secondary schools: Ambassadors Club 2025

It is with great enthusiasm that we announce the launch of the Ciências Ambassadors' Club for the year 2025! This project already includes students Nuno, Rita, Maria, Vítor, Mário, Larissa, and Francisco, a group composed mostly of bachelor’s and master's students, selected for a special mission: to bring the Faculty of Sciences (CIÊNCIAS ULisboa) to high schools.

The mission of our ambassadors goes beyond simply presenting the bachelor programs. They will share their own experiences as Ciências students: the challenges they faced, the achievements, and the discoveries they made throughout their academic journey.

The Ambassadors' Club aims to strengthen and expand the work carried out in recent years, now with a more integrated and comprehensive approach, which includes departmental-level initiatives. Among the main goals is the promotion of the faculty’s educational offerings to high school students, especially those in the areas of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, Geology, and Biology in the 12th grade.

With an interpersonal approach that prioritizes direct contact between pre-university students, university students, and professors, this is the first phase of a project aimed at collaborating on various aspects of the faculty’s recruitment initiatives.

We invite students from all study cycles, researchers, and professors who voluntarily wish to be part of this initiative to join the Club, contributing their experiences and enthusiasm.
