Library user guide

Here you will find assistance with some of the questions most frequently asked by library users, as well as a number of supporting documents:

• You must be a member of the CIÊNCIAS community and have an institutional email address;

• Your deposit must be associated with a CIÊNCIAS Research Centre or Department;

• You must complete the form for creating of a sub-community (Research Centre or Department) within the Repository;

• The membership form must identify a person responsible (Coordinator), a reviewer, and one or more depositors;

• When completing the form, the Coordinator specifies which collections are to be created, such as National Journal Articles, International Journal Articles, and others;

• Once the form has been completed and signed, the Coordinator of the sub-community should send it to the Ciências Library at biblioteca@ciencias.ulisboa.pt. The Library will then forward it to the Rectorate, which will grant the necessary permissions to the members of the sub-community.
