An initiative that celebrates the strategic role of higher education in innovation and the development of the Portuguese entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Following the success of the first edition, UniVerse returns in 2026, once again bringing together the country’s leading higher education institutions and their start-ups to showcase talent, innovation and solutions with the potential to transform the future, in an event running alongside the Web Summit.
ULisboa’s schools are invited to identify and submit the pitch deck of a start-up representative of their entrepreneurial ecosystem by 25 September.
The competition aims to raise the profile of innovative projects with high growth potential, offering participating start-ups a unique opportunity to present their solution to an audience comprising investors, companies and other key partners within the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
The nominated start-ups will be assessed by an external jury, which will be responsible for selecting the one that will represent the University of Lisbon in the Pitch Competition at the 2nd edition of UniVerse.
