Emotions, emotions, emotions: we’re constantly being told that we ignore them too much, that we’re either too emotional or too insensitive, that we don’t control ourselves enough, or that we lack emotional intelligence. Oh, and that we should process them! But what does that actually mean? What are our emotions for? And how can we feel and express them in a healthy way? This practical and dynamic workshop promises to shed some light on these questions and talk openly about our feelings.
The emotions workshops are a space where you can:
Understand what emotions are for and why they are important;
Discuss what makes up the emotional experience: such as thoughts, physical sensations or behaviours;
Reflect on what it means to ‘cope’ with emotions;
Explore different ways of managing and expressing emotions.
