Black holes with resonant hair are static, spherically symmetric solutions of the Einstein-Maxwell-scalar system that evade standard uniqueness theorems. While previous studies indicate stability under spherical symmetry, their behavior in full 3+1 dimensions remains to be determined. This work presents 3D time evolutions, showing that these solutions are dynamically unstable. The results indicate that such decay processes may be generic and could be found in related models.
