ULISSES - University of Lisbon Interdisciplinary Studies on Sustainable Environment and Seas is a unique opportunity to deepen your knowledge about the oceans and sustainability.
For whom?
Students interested in joining an international and multidisciplinary team, with colleagues from various Portuguese and foreign universities. Over several weeks, you will work on innovative solutions to the challenges of ocean sustainability.

Three universities are involved: the University of Lisbon, the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and the Technical University of Darmstadt.
Calendar for 2026
Applications until 15 December 2025;
Preparatory phase from 26 January to 4 April (e-learning, compatible with classes);
Team Project from 6 to 24 July (in Lisbon)
Final presentation: 24 July (in Lisbon).
Students from the EU and other Erasmus+ partner countries can apply for grants from their home institution to support their mobility expenses.
