Portuguese Science Summit Innovation 2026 "Preparing for the Future"

The 1st Portuguese Science Summit Innovation 2026, taking place between 15 and 16 July will mark the Agency for Research and Innovation’s (AI²) first major event.

The 1st Portuguese Science Summit Innovation 2026, is dedicated to a broad consultation with the science and innovation ecosystem, promoting interaction among the scientific community, private companies, sectoral organizations, and the government.

The 1st Portuguese Science Summit Innovation 2026, , consulted the scientific community, businesses, organisations from various sectors, and national, regional and local public authorities on ideas and collaborative proposals for scientific research and knowledge-based innovation, including their links to society, the economy, the local area and regional development.

The proposed topics submitted by the various groups will form the basis for a public, participatory debate taking place across several rooms, the outcomes of which will contribute to the strategic guidelines for research and innovation in Portugal over the next five years.
