Applications to the Pedagogical Training for Professors - ULisboa

The University of Lisbon is organising a training programme for its professors, researchers and Inov@U partners.

Registration for the Pedagogical Training for Professors - ULisboa is open until 23:59 on 14 June 2026 and is open to professors and researchers from ULisboa and IPLisboa.

The training sessions in this cycle will take place between June and September 2026 and, with the aim of enhancing quality, excellence and innovation in higher education, are structured around three key pillars:

  • Planning: Through the “Summer Workshop: From Inspiration to Pedagogical Planning”, lecturers receive practical support to structure their next study unit (UC). In addition, the “First Class of the Semester” training session addresses best practices and essential components for creating, from the very first session, an environment conducive to learning.

  • Educational Innovation: This section addresses new digital and technological trends in education. It explores the impact of Generative AI through workshops focused on assessment and feedback, the ethical design of teaching solutions, and the creation of virtual tutors for course units. In addition, it incorporates the use of podcasts as an educational resource to humanise the relationship with students and foster critical thinking.

  • Inclusion: aiming to equip teachers to respond to diversity in the classroom, theoretical and practical modules are offered dedicated to understanding and implementing inclusion and accommodation strategies for students with dyslexia, autism and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
