This training course is aimed at teachers in groups 230, 420 and 520, and is designed to update and deepen their scientific knowledge in the fields of Natural Sciences, Geology and Biology.
The course combines theoretical content with practical skills, with a particular focus on fieldwork, current methodologies for the study of fossil vertebrates, and the appreciation of the Mesozoic fossil record in Portugal. It also aims to contribute to the promotion and conservation of Portugal’s palaeontological heritage as a scientific and educational resource, in conjunction with the curriculum content of primary and secondary education.
The course, which runs from 6 to 10 July, is accredited by the Scientific and Pedagogical Council for Continuing Education (accreditation number CCPFC/ACC-139117/26) and is worth 1 credit (CCPFC).
