Climate U is a free programme promoted by the LIDERA Community, in partnership with the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. Aimed at young people aged 15 to 35, the programme seeks to empower a new generation to tackle sustainability challenges through learning, collaboration and the creation of impactful projects.
Throughout 2026, Climate U travelled across several regions of the country, promoting moments of learning, sharing and the development of ideas linked to sustainability and climate action.
The Hackathon Climate U 2026 takes place on 10 October and will bring together young people aged 15 to 35 in Lisbon to develop solutions for challenges related to sustainability and climate action.
Over the course of the day, participants work in teams, receive specialised mentoring and present their projects in the final Pitch Battle.
The winning team receives a €1500 prize.
Registrations are open until 1 october 2026.
